Community Engagement
The Emerging 100 of Atlanta is focused on the engagement, encouragement, and betterment of the students at B.E.S.T. Academy and the members of the Collegiate 100 of Atlanta, but also on the enhancement of the community at large. To make an impact on the metro-Atlanta community, our organization hosts various programs and opportunities year-round.
From creating spaces for young professionals to interact with top executives from Fortune 500 companies, to sharing vital information about career development and financial well-being, to shining a light on the importance of mental and physical health in the minority community, the Emerging 100 provides avenues for young professionals to give back to their community and become informed.
Corporate Roundtable
As intimate experiences with top corporate executives in the city, these events are designed to give young professionals an exclusive opportunity to discuss one-on-one experiences and strategies for success. Executives provided a “behind-the-scenes” perspective from the preeminent corporate citizens in the City of Atlanta and host companies are provided with the beneficial opportunity to interact with talented young professionals who can be considered as potential applicants in the formal recruitment process.
Career Development
An interactive half-day workshop where the Emerging 100 leverages its business relationships to bring together experienced professionals and executives who provide insights to graduates and young professionals on entrepreneurship, networking, and moving up the corporate ladder.
Community Service
The Community Service Committee is a dynamic force dedicated to identifying and addressing community needs. Through strategic collaboration with city leaders, corporate, and community partners, we curate impactful projects and programs that uplift the communities we serve. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to leave Atlanta better than we found it through service.
Operation Community Uplift
Operation Community Uplift (“OCU”) is the civic engagement arm of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta. OCU is dedicated to elevating the Emerging 100 of Atlanta’s position as a thought leader and convener of meaningful discourse on public policy topics of interest to our community and non-partisan voter engagement.
Health & Wellness
The Health & Wellness Committee is dedicated to promoting and supporting the physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being of our members and Atlanta community at-large. The primary goal of this committee is to create a culture of health and wellness, fostering a positive and supportive environment that encourages individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices.
