TONY C. JONES

President

Tony C. Jones is a litigator at the law firm of Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, PLC. In his role, Tony represents entrepreneurs, franchisees, closely held and family owned businesses, healthcare companies and healthcare professionals, trucking companies, property management companies, hotels, restaurants, real estate developers, construction companies, technology companies, and insurers in commercial, tort, class action, and insurance litigation matters.

Tony has also used his legal training and experience to service the needs of members of the community who wouldn’t ordinarily have access to an attorney. In that regard, he has represented dozens of domestic violence victims in Atlanta, on a pro bono basis, through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. Tony is the President of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta,  a Founding Board Member of the Resurgence Hall Charter School,  and a Board Member of the American Red Cross’s Minority Recruitment Advisory Board. In 2015, Tony was awarded the first ever Terrell J. Slayton Member of the Year Award from the Emerging 100 of Atlanta and was selected as a member of Outstanding Atlanta’s Class of 2015.

A native of Albany, Georgia, Tony graduated from Morehouse College, magna cum laude, in 2006 with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Political Science. He pursued his legal studies at the University of Michigan Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2009. After graduating from law school, Tony returned to Atlanta chart the course of his legal career and serve the Atlanta community.

Vice President

Ron Townley is the Finance Manager of Global Financial Planning and Analysis at CSM Bakery Solutions. He received his MBA in Accounting and Finance at Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Morehouse College. Ron mentors with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta and previously served as on the board as treasurer for the Emerging 100 of Atlanta.

Emerson W. Girardeau III is an Associate in the Energy Law practice group at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, LLP.  He received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Morehouse College.

Jeroz Owens is a Senior Project Manager at Fiserv.  His role includes project management for online and mobile banking solutions. Jeroz received his Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.

joseph wilson

Parliamentarian

Joseph Wilson is a Trial Attorney at Bruce Hagen, P.C. His practice focuses on the representation of victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death cases. In his spare time, Joseph coaches the mock trial team at Centennial High School. He received his Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Jacksonville State University.
