The Emerging 100 of Atlanta, the young professional auxiliary of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc., is proud to announce the recent induction of its newest members, the class of 2014.
These top-tier men represent a diverse mix of Atlanta’s brightest young professionals. They each serve and are making a difference in various industries including: law, finance, education, healthcare, marketing and sports management. Selected from an applicant pool of impressive individuals, these exceptional men bring a wealth of educational experience, civic engagement and professional expertise, furthering the mission of the Emerging 100 and the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc.
President Kevin Gooch expressed his excitement around the new addition.
“The talent in this class is immeasurable and the members of our organization look forward to locking arms with our new members to amplify the voice of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta. We are confident that the addition of these new members to our existing membership will allow us to make a much more meaningful and lasting impact on BEST Academy, the Collegiate 100 and the Atlanta community as a whole,” Gooch said.
The Emerging 100 of Atlanta is excited to officially present the class of 2014.
As always, thanks for supporting us last night at Sky Lounge at the Glenn Hotel for our summer event. Proceeds benefit our mentoring programs at BEST Academy High School and our ‘Emerging Leaders Awards’ scholarship fund.

Friday evening, April 25th, the Emerging 100 of Atlanta honored four outstanding high school seniors from the Atlanta Public School System and one college student from an Atlanta-area institution for their tenacious efforts to overcome life-changing obstacles to achieve academic success.
The first-class event was hosted on the 50th floor at Alston & Bird LLP in midtown.
These young men’s inspirational stories were highlighted and honored, and they were each awarded college scholarships to further their educational endeavors. (more…)
